ADP Senior Business Security Analyst in Barcelona, Spain

Job Summary:

The ESI Business Security Office is the trusted ally to the ESI organization that support it to effectively manage security risks and foster a transparent, cutting-edge security culture.

We work closely with Business Units to ensure clients and associates are aligned with current security practices and policies. There is one of us in every BU and we work closely with (Senior) Management on all Security and Cybersecurity related activities.

If you finally work with us, you will represent the Global Security Organization and Business Security Office in front of the business leaders and stakeholders primarily in ADP Celergo and eventually in the broader Global Payroll Space. And they will contact back to you to consult on, drive and support regarding:

  • Risk Management: identify, advise, suggest mitigation, monitor BU controls… all within the ADP Risk Management Framework.

  • Business Resilience: ensure the BU is ready in case operations are/could be somehow go belly up. Planning, exercising, and managing incidents when they occur will be your bread and butter in this area.

  • Business value: position security as a market differentiator for Clients. Support Sales and Business operations to drive growth. Use metrics to prove it. Use them also to anticipate needs and requirements.

  • Technology Transformation: be an active partner and adviser to support ADP’s technology and cybersecurity transformation.

  • Relationship management: nurture the relationship between BSO – and as extension the GSO – and the Business Unit. Bring value to the relationship and crystalize the value in objective actions.

  • Security Culture: be a role model for all associates in the BU in the security/cybersecurity arena. Provide training packages, engagement opportunities and communication campaigns to foster security. Support adoption of the Security transformation programs.

Scope of Responsibilities :

  • Be a trusted ally to the ADP Celergo BU to effectively manage security risks and foster a transparent, cutting-edge security culture.

  • Manage operational risk, protect privacy, and meet unexpected security challenges, but anticipate emerging threats and stay two steps ahead.

  • Deliver dedicated security services primarily for ADP Celergo, but also in connection with the broader Global Payroll area.

  • Become the go-to person for BU Senior Leaders, management, and associates, regarding security.

  • Represent the Global Security Organization. As such you will represent services that cover a wide range of disciplines including Cyber, Physical, and Fraud.

Operational focus areas:

You will be the ambassador for GSO’s Security Program. That’s a big responsibility.

As such you’ll provide leadership in execution of the global security program at the BU level. You will:

  • Understand the ADP GSO Security program (security policies, guidelines, best practices, checklists, etc.).

  • Assess and monitor risks associated with all processes and technologies within the BU, including application and product vulnerabilities. Ensure governance and support with related remediation process to closure.

  • Monitor, schedule, and communicate security tasks, events, and trends with respect to the BU.

  • Provide coordination, operational service assurance and reporting of various activities such as threat and vulnerability management (incl. alerting services, application security, and investigations, etc.).

  • Provide technical consulting around customization of security technological solutions and other security programs (Business Resilience, Zero-Trust, etc.) to make them relevant and effective regionally.

  • Provide risk and other relevant metrics to the BUs as necessary or assigned. Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Initiate and support Security training and awareness and communications programs, customized to maximize reach and impact locally/regionally.

  • Monitor and support the Incident Management process in alignment with the applicable structure of local Business Security Champions for the scope/region. Consult and contribute to incident reduction programs in direct liaison with BU Business Process Improvement teams and stakeholders.

  • Support and act as a local extension of GSO’s Security Advocacy, Communications and Training functions. Engage across the organization to discuss client security requirements and explain the Security Advocacy program.

  • Provide consult with prospect and client inquiries, audit requests and the review of security terms in contracts by engaging directly with client service, sales, and legal teams.

  • Support and act as a local extension of GSO’s Global Supply Chain Risk Management function. Maintain knowledge and oversight over the BU vendors, related initiatives, contacts, and stakeholders. Advocate security around any third-party involvement.

Reporting Lines:

The Sr. Business Security Analyst CSL reports into the Sr. Director Business Security Office Global Payroll & APAC.

You’ll be required to identify your own tasks within this area of responsibility and report progress and deliverables without others providing task management.

You’ll also be to make decisions about the interpretation of ADP’s Security Program and how to best apply it to the respective business unit(s) while assuring that unacceptable risks are not taken.

Skills required:

  • Must understand the impact of security changes on clients and business.

  • Adaptability to a fast-paced changing environment. Probably you won’t’ see it coming, so you better learn and adjust fast.

  • Excellent oral and written communication. Very good won’t be enough. Excellent.

  • Relationship builder. Can you influence and lead others without managerial responsibility? Then we need to talk.

  • If you’ve studied computer science, telecommunications, or similar, that will be useful. CISSP, CISM, or CRISC certification as well, but if don’t, don’t worry.

  • 5+ years security and/or risk management experience in a large and complex business environment.

  • The more you know about security methodologies, policies, industry standards, certifications, and best practices the better.

  • Can you explain technical concepts without using acronyms? Can you explain them to a 5-year-old and be successful? If so, we’re getting somewhere.

  • We work at ADP. Knowing about HR and Payroll will make your life easier. If not, we will teach you about it, it just will take a bit longer.

  • We all speak English, so you’d better do. If you can speak something else, it will be more than welcome.

  • Occasionally you’ll have to visit folks in other locations or attend client events. But don’t worry, those typically you’ll see them coming and don’t happen quite often.
