JOB REQUIREMENTS: We are seeking an Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Intern to join our team. As an EHS Intern, you will be responsible for helping to ensure compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations. This is a critical role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for our employees and an excellent experience for someone currently enrolled in an EHS program. Responsibilities: - Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory agencies - Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions - Provide training and education on safety protocols, including CPR, first aid, and emergency response - Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop preventative measures - Collaborate with management to develop and implement effective safety programs - Monitor and evaluate workplace conditions to ensure compliance with EPA regulations - Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training activities - Prepare reports on safety performance and make recommendations for improvement - Stay up-to-date on changes in environmental health and safety regulations Requirements: - Work Towards Bachelor\'s degree in Occupational Health, Environmental Science, or related field - Knowledge of OSHA regulations and workers compensation laws - Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report writing and delivering training sessions - Ability to fabricate solutions to complex problems related to environmental health and safety - Knowledge of occupational health hazards and their mitigation strategies If you are a dedicated professional with a passion for promoting a safe work environment, we encourage you to apply.
