Description Katie Weigel with Robert Half Finance and Accounting is recruiting to fill an FP& A Manager role for a growing manufacturing company in Carson City, Nevada. This newly created role will be a key person on the Finance and Accounting team, and report to the Corporate Controller. The Financial Planning and Analysis Manager will manage one person, and a broad set of responsibilities from the very hands on to presenting to the Senior Leadership Team.

• Develop and enhance data, systems, and procedures that allow for accurate and timely reporting of operational results.

• Collaborate with department leaders to build annual budgets, monitor and control costs, and revise rolling forecasts throughout the year.

• Support all aspects of the business by advising on the financial implications of alternative business strategies.

• Present financial results and analyses, as well as provide recommendations to management related to short and long-term financial objectives and policies.

Requirements:

• The company has just implemented a new ERP system, and they are seeking someone with strong manufacturing experience who has worked in ERP systems.

• Strong technology skills in general, including Power BI, Excel and SQL.

• BS Degree in Finance or Accounting required

• At least 6 years of experience, including at least 4 years in FP& A

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and presentation skills.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Extensive experience in Budgeting and Forecasting

• Knowledge and experience with Rolling Forecast

• Relevant experience in a manufacturing industry

• Strong managerial skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to rapidly changing situations

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation

• Strong business and common sense acumen

• Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity.
