We are seeking a sensational full-time Assistant Property Manager to join our team! Under the general supervision of the Property Manager, the Assistant Manager's primary responsibility is to support the Property Manager in all phases of the operation including, but not limited to, general property administration, leasing, maintenance, and property operations. These objectives include maximizing occupancy levels and property values.

Qualifications:

  • Prior Property Management Experience Preferred

  • Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) Preferred but Not Required

  • Strong Customer Service and Sales Skills

  • Strong Communication Skills

  • Basic Computer Skills

  • Organization and Multitasking Skills

  • Attention to Detail

  • Ability to work in Fast-Paced Environment

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent (College Degree or Coursework Desirable)

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly variance reports and provide other financial reporting information as required by the Property Manager

  • Inspect property regularly to ensure communities' presentation meets company standards

  • Prepare resident's welcome package and letter.

  • Prepare all appropriate forms for accounting adjustments.

  • Prepare move-out reconciliation form for Property Manager's approval to remove vacating residents from computer system.

  • Maintain securities access system, if applicable, issues security/access cards.

  • Monitor expenditures through purchasing and inventory control

  • Maintain open communication with Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor.

  • Contribute to cleanliness and curb appeal of the community on continuing basis.

  • Provide rental assistance to leasing staff

  • Ensures that all rents are collected when due, and posted in a timely manner

  • Handle delinquency in a timely fashion, file and represent company in landlord-tenant court if necessary

  • Manage and train leasing staff

  • Ensure all maintenance functions are handled in a timely and effective manner

  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products

  • Must have reliable transportation
