Job Duties

  • Develop and enhance in-house software applications or extensions by coding with a technical language to meet business requirements and business objectives.

  • Review technical specifications to develop an application or integration of data between applications, testing, and completing the appropriate technical documentation.

  • Apply best practices in software development and adhere to company development standards, focusing on quality and innovation.

  • Deliver support to end users in the organization for specific code, including troubleshooting code.

  • Serve in a team leader capacity with large-scale application development projects/programs.

  • Drive technical validity of solutions.

  • Coordinate issue resolution activities with various stakeholders.

  • Drive the development of business documentation, technical processes, and training materials.

  • Review problem logs, identify recurring problems, and complete steps for long-term resolution.

  • Provide coaching and development to junior application developers.

  • Coordinate the work of third-party development teams.

  • Participate in Agile teams.

  • Drive Behavior-Driven-Design (BDD) process.

  • Conduct peer code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.

  • Identify and apply best practices to coding and testing, configuration, technical design, and quality assurance.

  • Research, troubleshoot, maintain, and configure software to create effective test scripts, test applications, and interfaces.

  • May telecommute but must reside near Miramar, FL headquarters or Dallas, TX office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in computer science, electronics engineering, or related field; plus two years of experience in job offered or software application development.

  • Knowledge of SAP Commerce Cloud, Hybris core, Hybris Web Content Management, Solr, Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, MS SQL server, AWS/equivalent, and Angular.

  • Experience in CI/CD, Agile/Scrum, B2B/B2C, API/Web Services, REST/SOAP, Azure/AWS, Commerce cloud customizations, and Application Management tools.
