Robert Half Accountant Fixed Assets in Greensboro, North Carolina

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accountant in the Healthcare/NHS industry, located in Greensboro, North Carolina, United States. The role involves handling various accounting functions, utilizing different software systems, and applying knowledge in budgeting and forecasting.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize Accounting Software Systems, ERP Solutions, and Great Plains (GPAC) to manage and maintain financial records.

• Perform accounting functions including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Conduct regular auditing to ensure financial transparency and accuracy.

• Manage commercial property and intellectual property accounts.

• Maintain and manage asset accounting including fixed asset management, asset valuation, and asset inventory.

• Handle budget processes which include managing budgets, budget monitoring, and budget administration.

• Generate annual budgets and forecasts, manage expense budgets, and prepare annual budgets.

• Utilize Lawson HRIS for project/account reconciliations.

• Handle forecasting tasks including cash flow forecasts, financial forecast, and sales forecast.

• Utilize knowledge of Intellectual Property Law in managing accounts related to intellectual property. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions

• Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC)

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to perform Auditing tasks

• Experience with Budget Processes

• Knowledge of Commercial Property Management and Distressed Property

• Understanding of Intellectual Property including Biotech, Copyright, Licensing, Litigation, Patent, and Trademark

• Experience with MICROS Systems OPERA Property Management System

• Knowledge of Asset Accounting, Asset Additions, Asset Allocation, Asset Impairment, Asset Inventory, Asset Liability Management, Asset Management, Asset protection, and Asset Valuation

• Experience with Budget administration, Budget allocations, Budget Management, Budget monitoring, Budgeting, and Forecasting

• Familiarity with Annual Forecasts, Cash Flow Forecasts, Cash Forecasting, Demand Forecast, Economic forecasting, Financial Forecast, Forecast Activities, Forecast Updates, and Forecasting & Modeling

• Proficiency in Lawson and Lawson HRIS.
