What you’ll do:

Lead Aerospace Mechanical Systems & Products Chief Engineer's Office and provides direction to the engineering function in systems/product design, technology or Project Environment. Manages complex projects/programs involving multiple components and systems for completeness, compatibility, and compliance. Influences, resolves and communicates major changes to the cross functional teams across aerospace group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support overall global strategy for processes and capabilities to deliver quality products and services on-time in line with business objectives. Performs quality checks to ensure design meet Eaton and customer standards, requirements, and complaince.

• Provides direction to the engineering function in product design, technology, or project environment. Guides, mentors, trains, and empowers Senor technical leaders on products / systems. Provide technical guidance to all internal departments, suppliers, and customers as relates to the product.

• Responsible for enhancing the overall knowledge base, technical capability and best practice development across the Group.

• Resolves critical business issues and opportunities quickly and creatively

• Initiate and implement process improvements to support the Eaton business System; Tech Roadmaps, Product Roadmaps, DFSS, DMAIC and

• Promote and maintains a professional work environment, drive Digital design culture and DFx deployment for Flawless execution. Maintains effective communication both verbal & written with customer, team members and cross functional departments

• Participate in external conference, relevant consortium, professional bodies to understand and influence regulatory trends and understand market insights

Qualifications:

• Masters / PhD in Mechanical / Automotive / Aerospace engineering with proven track record in research, product design and development in Aerospace industry

• 20+ years of industry experience in Aerospace Mechanical Systems & Products research, design, development and manufacturing.

• Proven track record of demonstrating competencies in Problem solving, innovation Leadership, Process Management, and technical learning

• Able to drive skill development and routinely mentor others in technical speciality

• In depth understanding of Market & Regulatory trends in Aerospace Domain

• Strong background in Digital designs, Design for Six Sigma, Model based systems Engineering
