Job Title: Audiovisual Technician

Location: Pinnacle Bank Arena

Department: Operations

Reports To: Technical Services Manager

FLSA Status: PT Hourly, Non-Exempt

Summary

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has excellent and immediate openings for Audiovisual Technicians at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, NE.

The Audiovisual Technician reports to the Technical Services Manager/Supervisors and is primarily responsible for providing labor for all technical aspects of production at Pinnacle Bank Arena and Pinewood Bowl Amphitheater.

This is a challenging and fast paced Industry where no two days are the same. You will be exposed to a unique blend of the IT and AV worlds, along with enjoying a variety of Concerts/Sporting Events/Misc Events.

Essential Duties

Includes the following, but aren’t limited to:

  • Set up Stage Components per Event, including Hang and focus Lights, Sound Systems

  • Operate Sound Consoles and audio software.

  • Operate Lighting Boards and Musco/Lutron House Lighting system.

  • Operate Daktronics Scoreboard/Ribbon/Graphics, and Video Switchers as necessary.

  • Operate IPTV Software as needed. Assist with TV control Hardware as needed.

  • Cable Wrangling/Cable Management

Skill Required

This position requires ability to:

  • Demonstrate proper knowledge and use of all procedures, techniques, machines, materials, equipment, and tools used in technical construction and maintenance.

  • Demonstrate proper knowledge and technique in the use of lighting, sound, audiovisual, and rigging equipment used by the Pinnacle Bank Arena.

  • Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons, and others encountered while working.

  • Read and comprehend blueprints, drawings, and other related materials.

  • Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written forms.

  • Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, employees, exhibitors, patrons, and others encountered in the course of employment.

  • Physical demands of the position include climbing, lifting, and carrying.

  • Be licensed and insured to operate a motor vehicle in the United States

  • Remain flexible and adjust to situations as they occur.

  • Ability to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, weekends, and holidays.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or GED Certificate and/or an equal amount of professional experience
