Duties of a Deli Manager:

Oversee the daily operations of the deli department, including scheduling staff shifts, ensuring food safety compliance, and maintaining cleanliness standards.

Manage inventory by ordering deli supplies, conducting regular stock checks, and minimizing waste through efficient product rotation.

Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase deli sales, including promotions, in-store displays, and customer loyalty programs.

Train new deli employees on proper food handling techniques, customer service standards, and operational procedures.

Cook and prepare food orders and make sure they are served to the customers in a timely manner.

Prefers SafeServ Certification.
