The Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician must have a minimum of 3 years experience in a maintenance position within an industrial environment. Candidates must possess knowledge in both electrical and mechanical aspects including troubleshooting with PLC's, interfacing with HMI's, reading ladder logic, electrical blueprints, hydraulic & pneumatic schematics. Candidate must also have hands on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, cutting with acetylene and gas torches and some light machining knowledge.

• Required to repair and perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment in all departments of the plant.
• May direct workers engaged in hoisting of machinery and equipment. 
• Must use logical step-by-step procedures in working through problems with equipment and manufacturing operators.
• Must perform a variety of maintenance duties which may change often and operate certain machinery (if licensed and qualified).
• Other duties as assigned.  

Work Environment:

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

• Required -- High School Diploma and a minimum of 3 years Multi-Craft Maintenance experience, or equivalent job experience and high school combination.
• Preferred -- 2 year Associates Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Trade School
• Required -- Mechanical & Electrical Skills to use a wide variety of hand tools, multi-volt meters, meggers, welding equipment, etc.  
• Desired -- prior experience in wood products manufacturing
