**Personal Care Attendent/Certified Nurse Assistant needed in the following counties:  Winston, Attala, Choctaw, Oktibbeha, Leake, Webster, and Noxubee

The responsibilities of the Personal Care Attendent/Certified Nurse Assistant are categorized into personal care and light home management tasks that follow the provider service plan. A Personal Care Attendent/CNA may perform both personal care tasks and home managament that may include, but not limited to the following:**  

Provide Personal Care:

• Mouth and denture care
• Shaving
• Finger and Toe nail care (no cutting)
• Grooming hair (shampooing, combing, oiling)
• Bathing: bed bath, shower, or tub (partial or complete)
• Helps with dressing 
• Helps with toileting: bed-pan, commode/chair, or urinal(emptying and cleaning
• Reminds waiver participant to take medication
• Helps with eating
• Transferring or changing the waiver participant's body position
• Helps in ambulation 

Providing the following housekeeping tasks:

• Assures that rooms are clean and in order
• Prepares shopping lists
• Purchase and stores groceries
• Prepares and serves meals
• Laundering, ironing, sweeping, mooping, and dusting
• Run errands
• Cleans and operates equipment in the home such as a vacuum cleaner, stove, refrigerator, washer, dryer, and small appliance
• Changes linen and makes the bed
• Cleans the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots and pans
