Extrusion Operator

1st Shift

Position Summary

Oversee correct machine operation, quality check and package profile.

Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities

• Assist in line start-up.

• Stack good product in racks.

• Perform quality checks on profile.

• Monitor correct machine operation. Adjust machine for minor problems.

• Keep compound and pigment loaders full.

• Grind profile as needed.

• Keep work area neat and clean.

• Additional duties may be assigned as needed for business purposes.

Qualifications and Skill Requirements

• High School diploma/GED (minimum)

• Six months to one year related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education

• Basic computer skills with good working knowledge of Excel and Word software preferred

• Must have good communication and organizational skills

• Ability to multitask

• Be vigilant about safety

• Quality - conscious, oriented to excellence
