Position Overview The Manager, HRIS (Workday) is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership over the Workday platform, and leading a team of seasoned analysts who configure and maintain Workday. In partnership with the Director, HR Technology, this role will create a vision and comprehensive roadmap for the Workday platform aligned with organizational goals. Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders across the organization to inform and prioritize the roadmap and backlog. Working arrangement: Hybrid (Blend of in-office and remote work) Essential Duties include but are not limited to the following: Lead the Workday team who is accountable for the configuration and management of the Workday platform, including Core HCM, Performance, Compensation, Advanced Compensation, Absence Management, Benefits, Recruiting and Adaptive Workforce Planning. Develop the overall Workday roadmap to align with organizational goals. Consult with key stakeholders to identify and understand complex problems, engage the team to outline the most optimal solution. Ensure core processes like change control and release management are documented and followed. Manage the intake and prioritization process for new technology project requests. Maintain a stakeholder view of current and planned work, as well as a backlog of potential enhancements. Clearly articulate to stakeholders the status of and next steps for each request. Foster a collaborative, inclusive team culture that encourages innovation, diversity of thought, and risk-taking. Support team development and cross training. Effectively delegate tasks and projects to team members and engage vendors when needed, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion of commitments. Consistent demonstration of exceptional leadership qualities, including but not limited to the ability to attract and retain the best team, foster a culture of high performance, lead with integrity, humility, accountability, and courage, and set a clear vision to energize teams towards the future. Effectively manage, support, and guide your team, including, but not limited to delegating tasks and responsibilities, assess employee performance and provide helpful feedback and training opportunities. Manage relationships with Workday support vendors. Ensure accurate process documentation is maintained for HR technology processes. Conduct risk assessments for proposed changes, identifying potential challenges and developing mitigation strategies. Stay up to date on industry trends, new functionality and system releases. Optimize our Workday environment to be scalable and efficient. Consistently strive for a great user experience. Regular and reliable attendance. Ability to work nights and/or weekends. Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology, or related field. 8+ years of experience with HRIS application administration, specifically with Workday HCM. Strong knowledge of Workday configuration, security administration, and reporting capabilities. High level of partnering, influencing, coaching, and communication skills (written and verbal). Handle confidential and sensitive information with complete integrity. Demonstrated ability to perform the Essential Duties of the position with or without accommodation. Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications Experience working across countries/regi ns in a multi-national corporation preferred. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with all levels of employees across multiple functions and regions. Ability to create reports and configure in Workday, to support and provide coverage for team members when needed. Capable of driving change and serving as a change agent. Flexibility to adapt to quickly changing business needs. Attention to detail and ability to prioritize and multi-task in fast-paced environment. Strong follow-through skills and sense of ownership. #LI-VZ1 Salary Range: $109,000.00 - $174,000.00 The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis and may differ by hiring location. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
