JPMorgan Chase Control Manager in New York, New York

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Identify, measure, analyze, and make decisions on operational controls risks. Monitor operational- and financial-related data to recognize patterns and trends with risk and control implications. Implement risk mitigation and control remediation programs across the business. Provide the business with a comprehensive view of control risk, and assist with control and risk governance implementation and reporting. Coordinate the Control and Operational Risk Evaluation (CORE) process. Perform issue identification and action plan management. Conduct thematic and deep dive risk reviews. Design and execute testing of key risk controls. Participate in control meetings to provide view on operations control risks and issues. Provide review of operations errors in accordance with corporate operational risk event standards, and escalate to the relevant control committee. Align operations with global and corporate initiatives for risk identification and assessments. Perform proactive reviews to identify potential operational control risks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field of study plus 3 years of experience in the job offered or as a Control Manager, Risk Manager, Strategic Analyst, Accountant, Businesses Development Manager, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) rules and regulations; FINRA rules concerning Registration, Transaction Reporting Facilities, Clearing and Order Data Requirements, and Security-based Swap Margin Requirements; Dodd Frank Act; Volcker Rule on derivatives and financial instruments; Sarbanes-Oxley Attestation; CCAR CFO Attestation Rule; Federal Reserve Regulations K, O, and W; Risk quantification; Business continuity and resiliency plans; FICC risk taxonomy; Three Lines of Defense framework, including the roles and responsibilities of implementation as it relates to operations' first line controls environments; Controls design, performance monitoring, and testing; error analysis of operational risk events as they relate to markets operations, including route cause analysis and implementation of remedial actions; and operational risk issue management.

Full-Time. Salary: $140,000.00-$190,000.00 per year.
