Job Description

The Town of Ocean Citys Maintenance Division is looking for reliable, personable people to assists in all City special events and other maintenance duties as assigned. Greeting guests with a positive and professional attitude is important as you are representing the Town of Ocean City, at all times. Maintenance Workers will be working as Maintenance Assistants and working on the Ocean City Boardwalk, Parking Lots, Streets and areas around Town. Maintenance Workers will be assisting with setting up Special Events, sweeping, emptying trash cans and interacting with the public.

In addition, the Town of Ocean City is looking for a few additional people with a valid drivers license who would be responsible for performing the above duties and driving Town vehicles.

Minimum Qualifications

Position Details:

  • Starting April 3rd - October 27th
  • Hourly rate $15.45for new employees and $15.75 for returning employees (who meet specified requirements)
  • Must be available days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen test.
