About the Role

We are looking for a manager for a .net development team that will be responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of the product roadmap at the highest level of quality. The person in this role works closely with wider global teams to deliver the Product Development agenda and goals, while providing leadership to a team of Software Engineers.

This is a full-time permanent role, with flexible hours around core office availability Monday to Friday. The role can be performed remotely, with occasional travel for meetings, events and workshops.

Role Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and execute software solutions to address business issues.

  • Provide project management and technical leadership for every aspect of the software.

  • Interpret business requirements to articulate the business needs to be addressed.

  • Supervise resource allocation to assure attainment of apt business and personnel development goals.

  • Manage and execute development projects from beginning to finish.

  • Evaluate projects develop and update schedules plus supervise project status.

  • Collaborate effectively with all team members as well as hold regular team meetings.

  • At least 25% of time will be allocated to coding.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in a software engineering position, preferably in an enterprise-scale cloud environment.

  • Breadth of experience in growing companies of comparable size, geographical reach and complexity to PSI, preferably with experience of handling multiple technology platforms.

  • Proficiency in delivering end-to-end quality in product development, data analysis, reports, and effective communication across teams.

  • Experience in continuous integration, delivery, test driven development and pair programming.

  • Hands-on experience with multiple modern software development languages and front technologies, e.g. Java, JavaScript, .net, Go, CSS, HTML etc.

  • Familiarity with DevOps tools, e.g. source control such as GitHub and feature branching strategies, containerization such as Docker or Kubernetes, and Jira.

  • Experience with SQL Server/DB2.

  • Familiarity with cloud technologies such as Azure and AWS.
