Heidelberg Materials is seeking an Equipment Operator for our NY Construction division located in Oriskany Falls, NY.

What You'll Get To Do

• Performs a variety of production jobs, including acting as a helper or apprentice to the various other production crew leaders or operators, assisting in maintenance, cleanup and other miscellaneous duties.

• Ability to run heavy equipment including but not limited to: Front end loader, bulldozer, backhoe, bobcat

• The Operator will perform general labor activities on worksites, including clean-up, transporting bulk materials and loading and unloading trucks.

What We Are Looking For

• High school diploma or GED

• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience with heavy equipment.

• Heavy Operator Certification is a plus

• Valid NYS drivers license

• Able to work for long hours in all weather conditions

• Demonstrated mental alertness

• Neat and clean appearance

• A sense of responsibility for the safety of the public and the work crew

• Work Availability-Be available to work six days a week (Monday -Saturday) and occasionally on Sunday.

• Physical Requirements: Must be able to work extended periods of time and perform duties in all climates and weather.
