This job requires a minimum of three (3) months of agricultural experience, preferably on a hay farm, handling manual and mechanized tasks associated with commodity production (hay bailing, converting alfalfa into hay), and operating agricultural equipment. Applicants must be able to furnish verbal or written statement establishing relevant prior work experience. Workers must be able to perform manual and mechanized tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Workers must be able to handle and move alfalfa, bundle alfalfa, and move 100+ lbs. Worker will drive tractors and balers. Worker

will move bailed product from one area to another area of the farm with farm vehicles/equipment. Bending, stooping, and kneeling required. Worker will need to lift, carry, load/unload products or supplies. Worker will operate and perform routine maintenance on all farm equipment such as farm forklifts, hay squeezes, skit steers, and delivery trucks. Worker will be required to maintain the farm yard using aforementioned equipment. Worker will assist with the maintenance and repair of tractors and equipment. May assist with other general farm maintenance and/or repairs. Worker will be expected to operate equipment with or without direction, in a manner that protects the operator, other employees, crops, trees, facilities, and equipment. Failure to comply with operating and safety standards may result in termination. Workers will assist with the maintenance and repair of tractors and equipment. Worker may be required to work during hours where temperatures range from 30 to over 110 degrees F. Workers may be required to work during occasional showers not severe enough to stop operations. Allergies to hay, alfalfa, ragweed, honey bees, insecticides, herbicides, fungicides, or related chemicals may affect the worker\'s ability to perform their job. Worker should be able to do the required work with or without reasonable accommodations. Saturday work required. Unusual or complex activities will be supervised. Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors. Worker must have a commercial drivers license (Class A) and must have a clean MVR. On occasion, worker will be required to operate truck and will be required to transport alfalfa and hay to alfalfa farm using company truck. Employer paid post hire drug testing at random.
