As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will directly work in partnership with our top-level management to ensure the smooth running of our business. Your analytical expertise will be maximized in taking the lead on various projects, evaluating our business, and getting acquainted with key team members. This role offers you high visibility and the chance to make significant strides throughout the company. This is not your typical internal audit job. There will be great variety in your work as the internal audit team facilitates the Enterprise Risk Management program and governance so there will be opportunities to work on special projects. Primary Responsibilities

• Independently plan and execute operational, financial statement, and special investigation audits, which include risk assessment, scoping, testing, and conclusion reporting

• Construct solutions and convey recommendations to operations management and senior leadership

• Support the augmentation of the audit process, continuously pushing for greater audit effectiveness and efficiency, and offering the most relevant and timely insights to management

• Liaise with other Internal Auditors, external auditors, and consultants to finalize assigned projects

• Evaluate and react to emerging ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) trends and requirements

• Educate and supervise junior auditors while participating actively in the recruitment of new auditors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

• 1.5+ years progressive work experience, preferably with a “Big Four” or large regional public accounting firm

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to travel 15% of the time

• Relevant certifications like CPA, CIA, and/or CFE is a plus

• Experience in reviewing observations with and presenting recommendations to senior management is a plus
