Environmental, Health & Safety Intern - 3644

DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Job Summary The Environmental, Health and Safety intern must be an energetic, self-motivated, an innovative individual that possess the skills required to successfully execute project assignments, deliverables and be a collaborative team player.

Job Duties * Provide support with Environmental, Health, Safety and Security programs to ensure regulatory compliance and continuously improve performance * Provide support with Environmental Health and Safety documents (e.g., calculations, reports, KPIs, policies, procedures, and specifications, etc.) * Job Safety Risk Assessment/ Risk Identification * Assist with the development and implementation of Process Confirmation Audits and audit schedules * Participate in the investigation of all near misses, first aid cases, recordable cases, lost day injuries * Special projects identified by the EHS Manager * Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education * Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree with a focus in Environmental, Health and Safety or Occupational Safety * Leadership experience as demonstrated by your involvement in extracurricular activities on campus or in the community * Perform work under direct supervision * Handle basic issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff * Possess knowledge of subject matter (EHS)
