[[ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES [[Assists in cleaning and maintaining parks, recreation facilities, landscaped areas, and other associated grounds and buildings.

[[Does a variety of grounds maintenance work; including mowing, weeding, tree and shrub trimming, policing parks, digging graves, preparing ball fields, and related beautification and maintenance projects.

[[Operates light duty vehicles in picking up and delivering tools, materials, supplies, and transports employees to various job sites.

[[Performs minor construction, alterations, maintenance, and repairs on parks facilities and buildings. Assists in the preparation of ball fields.

[[Responsible for maintaining, using, repairing, sharpening, and cleaning appropriate work tools.

[[Responsible for maintaining, preparing athletic fields for league and tournament play.

[**[PERIPHERAL DUTIES [[Performs all other duties as assigned by the Parks Maintenance Supervisor.
