First Student Regional Charter Sales Consultant in United States

About the Position
Grow Outside Charter Revenue by introducing charter transportation solutions to both public and private sectors, targeted channels and large activities. Find/identify opportunities with companies that require for-hire transportation services regionally or across the U.S. Maintain on-going relationships with existing customer base to influence retention and on-going growth in these accounts. This position will cover the Southern region of the US. This position is bonus and commission eligible.
This is a remote position opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Grow charter sales to meet and or exceed annual/quarterly/monthly established Charter Revenue Goals, Targets & Objectives
Prospects and develops new business. Generates inquiries & works them through to booking.
Develops and maintains strong working relationships with their Charter Center peers and key Operations personnel (LM/AGM/RVP/SVP)
Builds, manages and maintains relationships with key prospect/customer decision-makers and influencers to ensure new growth and retention of existing accounts & customers.
Navigates complex sales channels while continually moving the sales process forward during sometimes lengthy sales processes.
Prepares and leads presentations, proposals, and bid processes to strategically win new business.
Gathers market, prospect, and customer intelligence. Stays abreast of changes in the transportation market which could open business opportunities.
Works to become a transportation industry expert that will lead to Initiating strategies utilizing our core strengths in untapped markets.
Is visible in the transportation industry by attending, networking, and fully participating in trade shows, exhibits, and other opportunities to promote the company as the transportation solution.
Focusing on large volume regional accounts > $15,000 in transactions
Additional duties and special projects as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
5 years direct sales experience
Superior knowledge of sophisticated sales techniques and methodologies
Proven ability to manage a protracted and complicated sales process
Exceptional oral, written, and presentation communication skills with ability to sell to “C-level” executives
Fluent in English
Ability to win sale without being lowest priced solution
Track record of success
Experience in the transportation industry (transit, motor coach, limo, package, waste disposal, armored car, etc.) preferred
Experience with Salesforce.com
