GENERAL PURPOSE:

The Senior HRIS Manager plays a key role in the development and management of new system capabilities, managing relationships with stakeholders and vendors, architecting the HRIS roadmap, and providing leadership, coaching and development opportunities for a team of HRIS professionals.

The Senior HRIS Manager will: Provide leadership, planning, and project management for the design and oversight of HRIS programs. Manage highly technical, specialized, and complex projects. Partner with Business, IT, and vendors in the implementation of system upgrades and enhancements. Plan and direct ongoing HRIS administration. Develop and review systems testing to ensure the integrity of sensitive data. Contribute to HRIS strategic planning to support short and long-range Company goals,

The ideal candidate is a team leader with technical subject matter expertise in HRIS who can effectively build and manage relationships with client groups, lead technology projects, and manage portfolio communication.

The base salary range for this role is $138,100 - $228,900. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.

AS, ASM and SM Associates in Stores and Exempt Corporate and Merchandising roles are also eligible to receive a Bonus based on individual and business performance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Drive the growth of HRIS capabilities in support of business needs and strategic vision with focus on ATS and LMS portfolios.

• Partner closely with clients to prioritize the technology roadmap, scope level of effort and plan resources required for each project. Serve as subject matter expert for systems, processes, administration, and end-user experience.

• Project management and initiatives:

o Act as project lead for assigned HRIS projects related to implementations; review requirements and scope documents and identify risks.

o Evaluate operational effectiveness and develop business cases to prioritize process and system improvement initiatives.

o Manage system implementations, upgrades, and system integrations in partnership with IT and other Business Partners.

o Ensure technology solutions meet the needs of the business; collaborate with HR Business Partners and business leaders to identify business requirements.

o Manage requirements definition and application design by reviewing and approving business requirements documents, functional specifications and other related documents with project sponsor; manage User Acceptance Testing.

o Identify and implement best practice quality control standards to ensure highest quality launches.

o Ensure management is fully informed of risks, issues, challenges and provide solutions.

o Provide support for development of training to system users.

o Manage and maintains relationship with external vendors and service providers.

• Training and leadership:

o Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to the HR Systems team.

o Provide thought leadership on industry and technology trends and best practices.

o Effectively translate strategy, goals, and management philosophies into pragmatic and actionable deliverables.

o Monitor business initiatives and trends to forecast and optimize HR system requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree

• Minimum of 5 years of prior HRIS experience in a leadership role

• Experience managing HRIS function and vendor management

• Experience implementing ATS preferred

• Experience with PeopleSoft preferred

• Excellent analytical and customer service skills

• Ability to interact with all levels of internal and external personnel

• Ability to exercise discretion with highly confidential information

• Ability to lead others by providing expertise, and to manage workload and delegate work to others

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with all levels of associates

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA:

This position requires the ability to work in an office environment, including using a computer, attending meetings, working as part of a team, and the ability to communicate with team members and others. Regular attendance also is a requirement of the position.
