HPC-Industrial , powered by Clean Harbors, in Waterford Works, NJ is looking for an Equipment Operator to join their safety conscious team! This team member is responsible for the safe and successful execution of jobs across all service lines and various other responsibilities. The * Equipment Operator* serves as a representative of HPC-Industrial in creating a continuous working relationship with clients/customers. • Operates Vacuum truck and related equipment

• Maintains a current driver’s license, or CDL as required

• Safely transports hazardous & non-hazardous waste while operating company vehicles

• Completes a vehicle inspection report to assure vehicles and equipment operate safely

• Assure brake adjustment inspections are completed prior to use

• Operates and maintains trucks and equipment per manufactures recommendations

• Obeys all traffic laws and regulations when operating and driving company vehicle

• Wears personal protective equipment as required by HPC, DOT, OSHA, and customer regulations

• Verifies that the load, tools, equipment, and materials are secured properly before transporting begins.

• Performs other duties when assigned

• Valid Class B CDL

• Ability to operate a manual transmission

• Obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsement within 90 days of employment

• Ability to use various mobile devices

• Perform physical functions per job requirements

• Per OSHA's Respiratory Protection Standard, 29 CFR 1910.34, employees in positions requiring respirators are required to meet facial hair standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Commercial driver experience

• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement

• Previous Hazmat experience

• Previous manual labor experience
